Business subjects include sales and marketing; agile leadership, collaboration and managing people; strategic planning and innovative problem solving; and financial literacy. Tourism subjects cover tourism technology, trends, tour design, airline management, and sustainability and ethical issues.
Work Integrated Learning (WIL) subjects are built into the degree, requiring students to complete a Professional Placement Preparation Program followed by two trimesters of professional placements, totalling a minimum of 600 hours. ICMS works closely with industry partners to find suitable placements aligned with students' skills, interests and professional goals. Placements could be in a major city, regional area in Australia, or even an international city.
Elective subjects are available in a range of business areas such as marketing, event management, entrepreneurship, hospitality management, and sports management. Examples include Cruise Management or Innovative Disruption. These electives allow you to enhance your International Tourism degree with subjects that reflect your interests and ambitions.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
