10997NAT Diploma of Christian Leadership and Ministry is built on the foundation of the 10996NAT Certificate IV in Christian Ministry, with an emphasis on the knowledge, skills and personal qualities required to function in leadership roles within Christian ministry, church and community settings. Delivered by Victory Life International Bible Training Centre (VLIBTC) at its Osborne Park campus in Perth, Western Australia, the course covers all 14 core units, including church history, prayer and intercession, biblical interpretation, homiletics and apologetics, pastoral care, exegetical study of scripture, eschatology, evangelism strategy, building faith, global missions, ministry leadership, family relationships, kingdom-advancing vision and biblical healing methods. Entry requires prior completion of the Certificate IV in Christian Ministry or an equivalent AQF4-level Christian ministry qualification from another RTO. Full-time study runs for 12 months (720 contact hours plus around 500 hours of self-paced study), with assessment competency-based and two re-assessment opportunities provided; international students must study full-time on campus. Graduates are prepared to serve as pastors, para-church workers or Christian educators, with the practical skills to teach small groups biblically, preach in outreach and missions settings, provide pastoral care, lead ministry teams and assist with church planting. Completion also guarantees admission into Alphacrucis College's Bachelor programs, crediting 80 of the 240 points required.
