Requirements

All applicants will be required to meet Eastern's General Entry Requirements.
All potential students are required to satisfactorily complete a new student interview with Eastern College Australia before being accepted into the course.
During this interview we can discuss your previous experience and training and any credit that may be available.

English Language Requirements (Overseas Students):

Applicants born in one of the listed countries (American Samoa; Australia; Botswana; Canada; Fiji; Ghana; Guyana; Ireland; Jamaica; Kenya; Lesotho; Liberia; New Zealand; Papua New Guinea; Singapore; Solomon Islands; South Africa; Tonga; Trinidad and Tobago; United Kingdom; USA; Zambia; Zimbabwe) and who have completed at least one qualification (secondary or tertiary) in one of those countries where the language of instruction was English.
Applicants not born in one of the listed countries but who have completed senior secondary study or at least one year of full-time university study in one of those countries where the language of instruction was English.
Applicants who have successfully completed a senior secondary qualification, a post secondary Diploma qualification of at least two years, an undergraduate program of three years or more, or a postgraduate program of two years or more FT, undertaken in a non-English speaking country, provided the study was completed in an institution listed in the International Handbook of Universities, World Higher Education Database, UK Naric Database or AEI NOOSR guides or an institution accredited through one of ICETE's registered accrediting bodies and is confirmed as having been conducted and examined solely in the English language.

TOEFL (Paper based): Minimum 527+ with Test of Writing English 4
TOEFL (Internet): Minimum 46-59
Pearson Test of English (Academic): Minimum 42-49

What study modes are available for this diploma?

The Diploma of Christian Ministry and Theology is delivered in two formats – online and on-campus. An online self-paced option is also available (TBC), making it accessible to students in a variety of locations.

Can international students enrol in this course?

Yes, overseas students can study at the Worldview (Launceston, TAS) campus (CRICOS CODE: 118215E). Overseas students must study 20 hours a week as a condition of their student visa, and specific English language proficiency requirements apply.

What pathways does this diploma lead to after graduation?

Graduation from this award allows admittance into any Eastern College Australia Bachelor awards and may be eligible to enter a range of other higher qualifications offered by RTOs and Higher Education Providers. Students who completed core and elective units may also be eligible for credit transfer when enrolling in an eligible qualification or accredited course.
