Common Questions
Yes, this course can be subsidised through the Government of South Australia's Subsidised training. The Participant Course Fee (Subsidised) is $669.00 AUD and the Participant Concession Fee is $670.00 AUD, with NIL incidental fees. Eligibility requires you to live or work in South Australia and meet citizenship or residency requirements.
Employment may include but is not limited to: Civil Engineering Draftsperson, Civil Engineering Design Draftsperson, Civil Design Draftsperson, Civil Construction Supervisor, and Senior Civil Works Designer.
Students may progress to UEE62111 – Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology, MEM80112 – Graduate Diploma of Engineering and/or Bachelor of Engineering.
The course duration is 78 weeks, including 18 weeks of holiday. It is delivered on campus in a classroom-based face-to-face and self-directed study mode, with intake dates in January, April, July, and October.
Students require a personal computer capable of being connected to the internet using a Wi-Fi connection, a personal email address, a mobile phone, the Microsoft Office suite of programs (provided by the college), a microphone and camera compatible or inclusive within the personal computer, home access to the internet with good speed to be able to do conference video calls, and Teams software installed. There is no Placement requirement at the Diploma level.
