The total course cost is AUD 25,750, which includes a Tuition Fee of AUD 24,000, an Enrollment Fee of AUD 250, and a Material Fee of AUD 1,500.
To successfully complete the Civil Construction course, you are required to have access to a computer with at least an Intel Core i5 (10th generation or newer) or AMD Ryzen 5 processor, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD storage, Windows 10/11 (64-bit), a 15-inch or larger Full HD screen, a dedicated graphics card with at least 4 GB VRAM, a stable internet connection, and a webcam and microphone. You may be required to use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar programs; software access will be arranged by the college where applicable, and SCCM will provide students with access to the full AutoCAD software and AutoDesk apps.
Yes. Students may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) if they can demonstrate prior learning or work experience that aligns with the competencies of the qualification. Applicants must submit supporting evidence such as resumes, references, portfolios, or previous qualifications. Additionally, if a student has an Australian VET qualification with equivalent units, they will be granted a Direct Credit Transfer. Where RPL or credit transfer is granted, the overall course duration and training schedule will be adjusted accordingly.
After completion of this course and all assessments, you will be issued with the Nationally Recognised Qualification RII50520 – Diploma of Civil Construction Design. A Statement of Attainment will be issued to students who partially complete the course.
To be awarded this qualification, competency must be demonstrated in 20 units of competency, consisting of 20 elective units. The course is delivered face to face on campus over 78 weeks (60 academic weeks plus 18 weeks of holidays).
