The total fees for this course are: Tuition Fee – $16,000; Enrolment Fee – $300.00 (non-refundable); and Material Fees – $1,500.00 (for required consumable products and issued textbooks), making the total cost $17,800.
Yes, students can pay on a quarterly basis with up to 6 instalments. Medicus College cannot require students to pay more than 50% of their tuition fees before they start the course, and a payment plan for any outstanding fees can be negotiated and will be detailed on a separate document.
International applicants must demonstrate English proficiency through IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. All students will also be required to sit for an Internal English Test to validate current levels. Applicants identified with lower than 5.5 English proficiency levels will be required to enrol in a specialist English Language provider to upgrade their English prior to entry into the course.
After achieving the Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design, candidates may undertake further related studies in VET at a Graduate Certificate level or Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership. Credit Transfer and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) options are also available for students with prior qualifications or relevant experience.
Graduates of this course may pursue careers as a Road Design Technician, Project Design Coordinator, Civil Construction Designer, Technical Officer Civil Design, Civil Engineering Draftsperson, Infrastructure Design Technician, Bridge or Structural Design Technician, or Urban Development or Drainage Designer.
