No prior massage knowledge is required to commence this course. The HLT52315 Diploma of Clinical Aromatherapy is designed to guide students through this complementary therapy from the beginning.
Students enrolled in the HLT52315 Diploma of Clinical Aromatherapy are required to complete a minimum of 120 hours of Student Clinic, which includes 60 Aromatherapy Massages. Additionally, there are 24 hours of work placement provided by the college. All practical experience is under the supervision of a qualified Trainer & Assessor.
Yes, international students are still eligible to study this course. The CRICOS course code is 094611F. International students are also required to have an IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent and a minimum of Australian Year 12 or equivalent.
The course duration is 78 weeks, consisting of 6 x 10-week terms plus holidays. It is delivered through a combination of online and face-to-face learning.
Assessment methods include various written assessments, projects, case studies, research, observations and logbook. The course requires completion of 20 Units of Competency consisting of 16 Core Units and 4 Elective units.
