Common Questions
The fees for the Diploma of Communication (Standard) are A$38,000 for Australian students and A$39,000 for international students. FEE-HELP is available for eligible domestic students. UTS College reserves the right to vary fees at any time, and you should factor in the likelihood of an annual UTS College fee increase into your budget.
The Standard Diploma of Communication is delivered over 3 trimesters, taking 12 months to complete. It delivers the same content as the Accelerated course, just spread out over a longer period, making it ideal if you want to focus on your studies while enjoying your new life in Australia.
For NSW/NT/SA/WA/TAS/VIC HSC students, the requirement is an Average HSC of 67%, based on English PLUS 3 non-VET subjects, with all 4 subjects including English being Category A subjects. QLD Year 12 students require a Maximum Overall Position of 16, and SAT applicants need a score of 1050 with completion of year 12.
Upon completing the Diploma of Communication, you can join the second year of the UTS Bachelor of Communication or Bachelor of Creative Production with 48 credit points RPL, based on no more than two subject failures for international students, or based on the required Grade Point Average for domestic students.
The CRICOS code for the Standard Diploma of Communication is 080601A. This course is accredited by the Tertiary Education Quality Standards Agency (TEQSA) to be offered to both domestic and international students and is recognised by the Australian Qualifications Framework.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
