Diploma of Community Services

A minimum of 100 hours of work placement is required for this course. Additionally, all work placement courses require a mandatory $15 Personal Accident Insurance fee.

For domestic fee-for-service students, the Face-to-Face delivery option costs $4,970 in standard tuition fees plus a $175 resource fee over 12 months. The Flexi-Learn option costs $3,970 in tuition fees plus a $175 resource fee over 12 months. Note that AIWT will not accept prepaid fees exceeding $1,500 at any one time.

International students studying via Face-to-Face delivery pay a tuition fee of $12,000, a resource fee of $495, and an application fee of $250. The course duration is 52 weeks. AIWT does not collect more than 50% of the total tuition fee unless the student or their sponsor informs AIWT in writing to choose to pay more. Prepaid fees are protected through the Tuition Protection Service (TPS).

Graduates of the Diploma of Community Services (Case Management) can pursue roles such as Community Care Manager, Family Services Coordinator, Community Worker, Case Coordinator (Disability/Community Services), and Family Support Worker.

The Diploma of Community Services is available via two domestic delivery options: Face-to-Face (2 days per week class contact, 100 hours work placement and online resources over 12 months) and Flexi-Learn (a combination of self-paced learning and face-to-face trainer support available by appointment over 12 months). International students are offered Face-to-Face delivery over 52 weeks.
