Describes the skills and knowledge required to assess the diverse and multi-faceted needs of people and determine both internal and external services required to meet those needs. Applies in a range of community service contexts.
Develop and implement service programs

Common Questions
All students who complete the CHC52025 Diploma of Community Services at SCSB will have to complete the mandatory work placement hours of 125 hours, which must be undertaken during the 80 weeks of training and assessment.
The program is delivered over 104 weeks full-time, including 80 weeks of training and assessment spread over 8 terms and 24 weeks of holidays/term break.
Students whose first language is not English must provide proof of English language competency through one of the following: a current IELTS score of 6.0 total or above with no band lower than 6.0; proof of completion of an Australian qualification in English language of one year or longer duration; successful completion of an approved English for Academic Purposes course meeting IELTS 6.0 equivalent requirements; or a successful score of Upper Intermediate Level on the School's English Language Placement Test.
