International students must have an IELTS academic score of 6.0 or equivalent (test must have been taken no more than 12 months ago). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of being educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country, successful completion of at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course or above in an Australian education institution, or successful completion of an Oxford English language placement test with an overall score of not less than Level B2 (Upper Intermediate).
Trinity Institute (Australia) provides training rooms, simulated community services work environments with associated equipment, and a personal protective uniform work shirt. Students are required to provide their own laptop installed with Microsoft Office or similar, black trousers, black non-slip shoes, and other textbooks and equipment as listed on the Student Resources List prior to enrolment.
After achieving the CHC52021 Diploma of Community Services, students may choose to continue their education in a range of higher education qualifications in the community services sector. Students are provided with advice on employment and training options throughout the delivery of the program. Graduates may also seek employment as a Community Services Coordinator, Community Services Case Manager, Support Facilitator, or Case Coordinator.
