The course is perfect for the experienced dance teacher wanting to gain accredited qualifications for teaching and choreographing intermediate to advanced students. It is designed to enable the teaching of correct technique, safe dance awareness, understanding group dynamics, the development of confident teaching skills and the skills required to run a small business, while also focusing on the development of the student's own dance technique.
Yes, auditions for Diploma courses are by appointment. Once Dance Factory receives your application, an audition time will be arranged.
All of Dance Factory's accredited courses offer students a range of State and Federal Government financial support and benefits, including Austudy/Abstudy for Australian students, Youth Allowance for Australian students under 24, student travel concession, relocation allowance, and CRICOS accreditation for international students.
Students can commence at any time. The next courses commence on 13th July 2026, 5th October 2026, or 27th January 2027.
