Common Questions
The Diploma of Digital and Social Media Marketing consists of 8 units at $1,500 per unit, bringing the total course fee to $12,000. Students only pay for the units they are enrolled in each trimester and there is no requirement to pay the total course fee upfront. The course is also fully FEE-HELP approved, meaning eligible domestic students may be able to defer their fees through the FEE-HELP loan scheme.
Self-paced study means students have the flexibility to progress through the material at their own preferred speed and schedule. Unlike traditional class settings with fixed times, self-paced study allows individuals to determine the pace at which they move through the course. You'll be automatically enrolled in two units each trimester, and once completed, the next two will unlock in the following trimester, allowing you to balance your studies with existing personal or professional commitments.
The diploma is designed to be completed over 4 trimesters, or approximately 18 months. However, how long you take to complete your course depends on several factors such as your study load, academic progression, and if you take any time away from your studies.
Upon completing the diploma, you'll be prepared for positions such as Digital Marketing Specialist, Social Media Coordinator, Content Strategist, Email Marketing Coordinator, Influencer Marketing Coordinator, Online Brand Manager, and Content Creator. The fashion and creative industries in particular value expertise in digital and social media, making this diploma a gateway to a range of exciting roles.
Whitecliffe offers multiple pathways into the diploma for domestic students, including: Early Entry for current HSC students with a Career Advisor recommendation; Recent School Leavers who completed Year 12 or equivalent in the last two years; VET Graduates who have completed a relevant Certificate IV or higher; Higher Education Graduates with an AQF Level 5 or above qualification; Work & Life Experience applicants aged 20+ with relevant experience; the Indigenous Entry Scheme; Special Entry for exceptional circumstances; and Overseas Qualifications assessed through official Country Education Profiles.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
