Common Questions
Yes, the Diploma of Digital Imaging is fully FEE-HELP enabled. FEE-HELP is a government loan scheme that assists eligible fee-paying students with loans to pay all or part of their tuition fees. It is available to Australian Citizens or holders of a permanent humanitarian visa who are enrolled in a higher education course. Note that FEE-HELP cannot be used for additional study costs such as equipment and materials, accommodation, or living expenses.
Upon completion of the Diploma of Digital Imaging, you are eligible to gain direct entry into Trimester 2 of the 1st year of the Bachelor of Photography and Digital Imaging or Bachelor of Screen Media degree. The course provides you with 60 credit points of the 180 credit points required for either of those bachelor's qualifications.
The total tuition fee for the Diploma of Digital Imaging is $22,400 for domestic students, delivered over 12 months across 4 trimesters at a reduced load of 4–6 hours per week. Domestic students who are Australian Citizens may apply for FEE-HELP to assist with tuition fees.
All applicants should complete and submit the Diploma of Digital Imaging Application Form. Applicants are required to demonstrate appropriate levels of English language proficiency consistent with studying in tertiary education. Upon receiving your application, you will be contacted to arrange an interview and show some examples of your current photography or video. Offers for domestic students are made after successful completion of the interview process.
