Common Questions
To achieve this qualification, the individual must have completed a total of at least 280 hours of work in a regulated children's education and care service in Australia as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of units of competency. The total number of hours may be applied collectively across all units of competency that include the requirement for workplace hours.
The course fees include a Tuition Fee of AU$15,000.00, a Material Fee of AU$1,300.00, and an Enrollment Fee of AU$250.00.
Assessments may include short written knowledge tests, discussions and oral communication demonstrations, case study exercises, written reports, web based research and reports, final projects and final written exams. To perform at your best, you will probably need to work on the assessments outside of class time.
Students who have completed relevant studies or have some of the competencies in the course may apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). Application for RPL can be made with the initial application or can be made within two weeks of the course commencement using the RPL Application Form and by providing supporting documents. Please note that RPL cannot result in an international student having less than a full time load of study (20 hours per week).
Payments can be made via Direct Deposit or Telegraphic Transfer to Commonwealth Bank (BSB: 062 005, Account No: 1116 1515, Swift Code: CTBAAU2S for international transfer). Credit card payments are also accepted with surcharges applying according to the type of card — Bankcards, MasterCard and Visa Card are accepted. Cash payment is not accepted.
