Common Questions
Yes, holding a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121 or equivalent) is a mandatory entry requirement for the Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care at ACVET.
To achieve this qualification, students must complete a minimum of 280 hours of mandatory work placement in a regulated early childhood education and care service in Australia. ACVET may assist in organising a suitable placement; however, students may also source their own.
Domestic students pay $3,299 and complete the course over 27 weeks through online blended delivery. International students pay $11,000 and complete the course over 52 weeks through face-to-face classroom delivery. Both courses are delivered at the World Trade Centre campus in Docklands, Victoria.
Assessment methods may include written questions, projects, presentations, reports, practical demonstrations and workplace observations. At the commencement of each unit, trainers and assessors will outline all assessment requirements.
Prior to commencing work placement, students must provide a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for the relevant Australian state or territory, a National Police Check (if required by the placement provider), and evidence of up-to-date vaccinations as required by workplace or state regulations.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
