Graduates are prepared for positions such as Early Childhood Centre Manager, Educational Leader, Child Care Centre Director, Family Day Care Coordinator, Outside School Hours Care Coordinator, lead educator, room leader, or assistant director.
This qualification is delivered over 52 weeks, comprising 44 weeks of study and 8 weeks of term-break.
Students must have an IELTS score of 6 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through being educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country, successful completion of an English Placement Test, completion of a foundation course or senior secondary certificate in Australia, or a Pre-entry Oxford Placement Test result of no less than B2. Other tests such as PTE and TOEFL may also be accepted if equivalent to IELTS 6.
This program is delivered in the classroom.
Students must be at least 18 years of age before commencement of the course.
