To achieve this qualification, the candidate must have completed at least 160 hours of work as detailed in the Assessment Requirements of Units of Competency. It is mandatory to complete work placement hours to be eligible for attainment of this qualification.

After completing HLT51020 Diploma of Emergency Health Care, students may progress to higher education programs in the paramedicine field at university level.
Yes, students must be eligible to drive in New South Wales (NSW) or Western Australia. A valid NSW/WA driver's licence is required within 3 months of the course commencement.
Students must demonstrate an English level of IELTS 6.0 overall with no band less than 5.5, or an equivalent qualification such as IBT 60, PTE 50, CAE 169, OET B, General English Advanced or equivalent, MOI Certificate, Duolingo 95, MET, LANGUAGECERT Academic, CELPIP General, or a Certificate IV or higher qualification with an Australian institution.
