The Diploma of Engineering provides guaranteed* entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at the University of Wollongong (UOW). You will gain the skills to succeed in your UOW bachelor and cover core first-year engineering subjects, blending theoretical and practical components for hands-on experience in fundamental engineering areas and explore various engineering disciplines, including maths and physics. You will also graduate with a Higher Education Diploma to help get you into the workforce while completing your bachelor's degree. This course consists of three sessions, each lasting 14 weeks, and is offered by our pathway provider, UOW College Australia. *The guarantee is subject to meeting UOW entry requirements as described in the course outline.

Upon successful completion of this course, you will gain guaranteed entry into the second year of a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (all specialisations) at the University of Wollongong, equivalent to 8 subjects (48 credit points).
