For local students, the government subsidised tuition fee is $8,200, plus a maximum annual amenities fee of $260, totalling $8,460. The non-subsidised tuition fee is $17,000, plus $260 in amenities, totalling $17,260. For international students, the fee is $18,600 per year or $9,300 per semester. Tuition fees do not include textbooks or course materials.
The course is offered with intakes in February and July each year. It is delivered at Melbourne Polytechnic's Preston Campus. The course is available full time (12 months) or part time, with blended learning combining face-to-face and online experiences.
Applicants must have successfully completed Year 12 of VCE studies or equivalent, including units in English and Mathematics. Mature age students (non-VCE) with relevant experience may also apply. Students without the necessary prerequisite studies may be required to undertake additional bridging units in mathematics and communications. International students need Australian Year 12 equivalency and an Academic IELTS score of 6.0 overall or Pearson PTE Academic 50 overall.
