About This Course

The Diploma of Entrepreneurship at Alphacrucis University College is a unique program designed to provide hands-on training and experience in turning ideas into reality and bringing them to the market. Learn ideation, design thinking, customer research, storytelling, and business commercialisation, and develop your entrepreneurial skills and mindset in this practical course. One-on-one coaching sessions are included in this course. The Diploma of Entrepreneurship provides an introductory body of knowledge and skills in the discipline area of entrepreneurship. The program is designed to produce graduates who can apply integrated technical and theoretical entrepreneurial concepts in a broad range of contexts from a Christian worldview, as well as embody integrity, professional knowledge and social skills, making a positive contribution to society. Students will have opportunities to plan, design, build and evaluate their own, as well as others' start-ups, using best practice approaches of innovation, sustainability, and creativity. They will perform complex technical operations in real-life start-ups with personal responsibility and autonomy. The course is run by Christian entrepreneurs and provides access to a network of experienced entrepreneurs, a startup incubator and accelerator, and the possibility of exclusive venture capital funding.

General Requirements

Entry Requirements Recent Secondary Education (with the past 2 years) Completion of NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC) (or the completion of an International Baccalaureate or the interstate or overseas equivalent qualification). Vocational Education and Training (VET) Applicants whose highest level of study after leaving secondary education is a Vocational Education and Training (VET) course must demonstrate the completion of an AQF Level 3 Certificate III or higher by an authorised institution or registered training organisation for admission into this course. Higher Education Study Completion of an AQF Level 5 Higher Education Diploma (or higher) by an authorised institution. International Students – Language Requirements IELTS (or equivalent) Score of 6.0 (with no score below 5.5 in any of the four skills areas) Additional Information Proof of Identity Applicants must submit a proof of identity document for every application. Accepted forms of identification: Birth Certificate Passport (current and valid) A supporting document must be submitted in addition to the identity document if an applicant’s name is different on their primary document. (Marriage Certificate or Change of Name Certificate) Applicants may be required to provide a certified copy of their identity documents upon request. AC does not accept a driver’s license or photo card as sufficient ID.
