The total fees for the 12-month course are $5,270 for subsidised students, $3,963 for concession students, and $11,105 for full fee-paying students. Average cost per semester is $2,635 (subsidised), $1,982 (concession), or $5,553 (full fee). You may be eligible for government subsidised training or a VET Student Loan.
There is no compulsory vocational placement; however, you will be required to volunteer for events to successfully complete some units of competency. You are also required to attend industry excursions which may be linked to assessments and unit completion.
Yes, this course offers a study pathway to the Bachelor of Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management with one year of credit.
Full time students will have on-campus classes 4–5 days a week from 9.00 to 3.30pm and can complete the course in 12 months. Part time students will have on-campus classes 2–3 days a week from 9.00 to 3.30pm and can complete the course in 24 months.
Yes, additional costs include excursion and industry visit costs of $75.00 and a name badge costing $7.50. Smart casual attire is acceptable, and lecturers will advise of appropriate dress for industry visits.
