Diploma of Fashion

The Diploma of Fashion is taught at the prestigious Fashion Design Studio in Ultimo, Sydney.

You will learn to use cutting-edge Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software as well as Adobe Creative Suite as part of the course.

The course fee for international students ranges from $24,240 to $24,960 AUD, with additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials ranging from $300 to $1,000 AUD per course.

Yes. On completion of the Diploma of Fashion, students will receive guaranteed 4 subject credits (80 credit points) towards the Bachelor of Fashion Design at TAFE NSW. Depending on the electives studied, students may receive a further 2 subject credits (40 credit points). TAFE NSW also has partnerships with a number of Australian universities that offer guaranteed entry and credit transfer to eligible students.

Through a mix of theory and practical coursework, you will learn to design garments, select and print on fabrics, create design communication and documentation, grade patterns, assemble garments, plan and execute brand and marketing activity, and use Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and Adobe Creative Suite.
