The images may include: Arranged or styled flat-lay Outfit of the day suggestions Fashion trends Design and make Fashion storytelling You can include work from secondary school, previous studies and personal or work-related design experience. The Diploma of Fashion Styling is taught on campus at RMIT University's Brunswick location in Melbourne, Victoria.
This course has a mandatory selection task requirement. All applicants must register and submit their selection task by the specified cut-off date. For Semester 2, 2026, the selection task cut-off date for direct applicants is 10 July 2026, while VTAC applicants must submit by 3 August 2026.
The total tuition fee for international students is AU$23,000 for the 2026 intake. Domestic students should use RMIT's fee finder tool for applicable fees, which may include government-subsidised places or VET student loan options.
For the Semester 2, 2026 intake, applications open on 10 March 2026. For Semester 1, 2027, intakes begin in February 2027. Applications are accepted directly through RMIT (using program code C5442) or via VTAC. Applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible as places may fill quickly.
The RMIT program code is C5442 and the national curriculum code is 11342NAT. The CRICOS code for international students is 118551M. You should note the relevant code before applying, as it helps you find the program when submitting your application directly to RMIT.
