The course fee for international students is $17,100 - $17,613 AUD. Additional costs for uniforms, equipment, textbooks and materials range from $300 - $1,000 AUD per course.
This qualification could help you prepare for roles such as Illustrator, Senior Graphic Designer, Motion Graphic Designer, Visual Designer, Digital Designer, and Desktop Publishing Operator.
You will build practical experience in hand drawing and illustration, digital illustration techniques, 3D design and construction, digital design, publishing, creative problem solving, working correctly with equipment and materials, and producing and displaying finished work.
After completing this diploma, you can continue your studies with an Advanced Diploma of Graphic Design (Illustration) at TAFE NSW, pursue a TAFE NSW degree pathway, or access university pathways through TAFE NSW's partnerships with Australian universities, which offer guaranteed entry and credit transfer to eligible students.
You will need to complete 9 core units plus 10 elective units, of which 6 must be from the electives listed and 4 may be from the remaining listed electives or any currently endorsed training package qualification or accredited course.
