Common Questions
The Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management requires the completion of 33 units of competency, including 14 core units and 19 elective units.
International students must be a minimum of 18 years of age and have an English proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) level is also assessed during the Orientation Session or after students agree to commence their course.
There are several package pathway options available: the Kitchen Management Pathway (Certificate IV in Kitchen Management + Diploma of Hospitality Management + Advanced Diploma), the Patisserie Pathway (Certificate IV in Patisserie + Diploma + Advanced Diploma), the Hospitality Pathway (Certificate IV in Hospitality + Diploma + Advanced Diploma), and Other Pathways combining various Certificate IV qualifications with the Diploma and Advanced Diploma.
The course is delivered at the Sydney Campus located at Level 7, 8 Quay Street, Haymarket, NSW 2000, Australia, or through Employment Based training (conditions apply). The mode of delivery is blended, including face-to-face learning, live virtual classrooms, eLearning, and/or work placement.
For the Kitchen Management pathway, the total fees for the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management (SIT60322) are $35,060, which includes a tuition fee of $33,600, material fees of $1,210, and a processing/enrolment fee of $250. The duration for this pathway at the Advanced Diploma level is 2 years and 9 months (139 weeks).
