Practical training covering hospitality will be provided in 36 sessions (approximately 144 hours) as an integrated part of your studies. Training will be provided within a TAFE NSW operated restaurant at your enrolment location.
After completing the Diploma, students can progress to the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management or the Bachelor of Business specialising in Hospitality and Hotel Management. At TAFE NSW Ryde and Ultimo, if you package the Diploma (1 year) with the Bachelor, the Bachelor duration is reduced to 2 years (total package: 3 years). At TAFE NSW Campbelltown and Kingswood, packaging the Diploma with the Advanced Diploma reduces the Advanced Diploma to 0.5 years (total package: 1.5 years).
Students must complete 11 core units and 17 elective units, consisting of 1 unit from Group A, 1 unit from Group B, 11 units from Group C, and 4 units from Group C, Group D, elsewhere in the SIT Training Package, or any other current Training Package or accredited course.
TAFE NSW provides a range of support services including the TAFE NSW Disability Support Service, Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) support, Careers, Counselling and Pathways Service, Studiosity (online access to a tutor), and LinkedIn Learning, which offers innovative courses and tutorials to improve personal and professional skills.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
