Diploma of Hospitality Management

The SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management is an AQF Level 5 qualification delivered by Bentley College face-to-face for 20 hours per week over 104 weeks (88 study weeks plus 16 weeks of break), across 8 terms at the Melbourne campus. The course comprises 28 units of competency in total — 13 core and 15 elective — covering hospitality management skills such as managing diversity in the workplace, managing an operational plan, enhancing and managing quality customer service, managing conflict, managing finances and budgets within a hospitality business, researching and complying with regulatory requirements, rostering and leading staff, monitoring work operations, establishing business relationships, and implementing workplace health and safety practices.
