For 2026, the NT Government supported fee is $4,215.75 for eligible domestic students who are NT residents. The full fee is $13,917.45. For international student visa holders, the annual tuition fee for commencing students in 2026 is AUD $17,420.00. Fees are indicative and subject to change annually. Eligible students may also access a VET Student Loan to help pay for course fees.
Yes, this course can be undertaken as a traineeship. The qualification is suitable for an apprenticeship pathway. Studies can be undertaken either on campus or externally at the workplace, with the exception of some units which require face-to-face training. To gain entry into the SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management, candidates are required to either undertake SIT30622 Certificate III in Hospitality or SIT40422 Certificate IV in Hospitality, OR to be currently working in the industry prior to commencing the diploma. A Language, Literacy, Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) evaluation is also required.
The duration is 6 months full-time if you have completed SIT40521 (Certificate IV in Hospitality), or 1 year if you have completed SIT30622 (Certificate III in Hospitality). Duration may vary depending on how long a student takes to reach the required competency level. Classes are held on a block schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Yes, this course is available to international students (CRICOS Course No. 112161G). International applicants must hold a qualification equivalent to Australian Year 12 and meet English language requirements, which include a minimum IELTS Academic score of 5.5 with no band less than 5.0, or equivalent scores in PTE Academic (overall 42, no less than 36 per skill), TOEFL iBT (overall 46, minimum writing 21), or Cambridge Advanced English (CAE) minimum score of 165. Student Visa holders must study internally full time.
