The Diploma of Hospitality Management (Commercial Cookery Pathway) takes 104 Weeks / 2 Years to complete, incorporating the Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and Certificate IV in Kitchen Management.
The course fee is $20,000 for 2 years or $15,000 for 1.5 years (including $10,000 for Certificate III and $5,000 for Certificate IV units). There is also a material fee of $1,400, which includes $1,000 for Certificate III, $200 for Certificate IV, and $200 for the Diploma course.
Yes, as part of the course, students are required to complete 12 occasions of Work-based Training (as part of the Certificate IV in Kitchen Management component). Lyons Education Group will assist students in finding a suitable venue to complete their Work-based Training.
The course is delivered at the Melbourne Campus located at L4/303, Collins Street, Melbourne, with practical training conducted at the Training Kitchen in Richmond.
Students who complete the Diploma of Hospitality Management may wish to continue their education into a range of Advanced Diploma qualifications, such as the SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management.
