For students enrolling via the Commercial Cookery Pathway (after completing the Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery), the Diploma of Hospitality Management is delivered over 26 weeks (6 months) in 2 terms, including 6 weeks of holidays, with classes scheduled two days per week plus 4 hours of scheduled face-to-face study.
The Tuition Fee is $5,000 AUD and the Material Fee is $500 AUD. A Gap Assessment may be required at an additional cost of $700. Please also note that prices may vary if Credit Transfer is approved.
After achieving this qualification, you may choose to undertake the SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management or higher education qualifications in management, such as a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or Management & Business.
You need EAP Level 2 of English, or an IELTS Test Score of 6 overall (General or Academic), or a TOEFL iBT Test Score of 60–78, or a PTE Academic Test Score of 52, or a Cambridge English Advanced (CAE) Test Score of 169, or an OET Pass Grade C. Students with an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent may take an English Language Placement test, which is only applicable for English-speaking country (level 1 country) or onshore students with a valid visa.
Yes, there is a requirement to participate in industry experience in order to achieve competency for this qualification. PCBT arranges industry placements and has strong relationships with several 5-Star Hotels within Perth CBD and the greater metropolitan area.
