The total course fee is AUD $18,850, which includes an Application Processing Fee of $250 (non-refundable, to be paid on application), Tuition Fees of AUD $18,000, and Materials Fees of AUD $600. Study materials are provided to students by CCMT and are included in the total course fees.
For a beginner student, the qualification is delivered over 78 weeks, including 60 weeks of training and assessment and 18 weeks of holiday. If a student holds the SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management, they may complete this diploma qualification in 26 weeks (20 weeks of training and assessment and 6 weeks of holiday).
International students must have an overall IELTS score of 5.5 or an equivalent score in other English skills tests, and test results must be no more than 2 years old. However, students may be exempt from providing English test scores if they have completed at least five years' study in Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, or the Republic of Ireland; are citizens/passport holders of the UK, USA, Canada, NZ, or Republic of Ireland; or have successfully completed the Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or 50% of the units of a Certificate IV or higher-level course in Australia in English within the two years before applying for the student visa.
The program is delivered face-to-face in the classroom and training kitchen for 14 hours per week, plus 6 hours per week online via the Learning Portal without trainer supervision, totalling 20 hours per week. The training kitchen has all the necessary equipment like a commercially operating kitchen but does not have real customers.
Graduates may pursue employment in the hospitality industry in roles such as Motel Manager, Chef Patissier, Sous Chef, Hospitality Manager, and Restaurant Manager. The diversity of employers includes restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafés, and coffee shops. Students may also choose to continue their education into the SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management.

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
