Yes, students enrolled in this course must complete a mandatory work placement of 36 service periods. Please note that students are required to source their own work placement.
There are no pre-requisites or any other training package entry requirements for this course; however, it is strongly advised that individuals complete lower-level qualifications and/or acquire industry experience prior to enrolling. Entry requirements include completion of Year 12 studies or higher or equivalent, successful completion of an LLN Test, and possession of basic computer skills.
The total tuition fees for the SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management is AUD $5,500 Fee for Service.
Candidates may progress to higher level qualifications within and/or across the hospitality industry sector, such as the SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management.
