This qualification is expected to be completed in 78 weeks, which includes 66 weeks of face-to-face training and assessment and 12 weeks of term breaks.
Yes, mandatory work placement of 208 hours is required as part of the course delivery.
International students must have an Academic IELTS score of 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in each band, and must have sound Language and Literacy Skills suitable for the course.
Yes, learners can have their competency from prior learning and work experience recognised through Credit Transfer (if a certificate with a statement of results or statement of attainment is produced and verified) or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) by providing relevant evidence as detailed in Platinum Education's RPL kit. If recognition applies, the student's overall duration will alter and a schedule of exemptions will be provided.
Further training pathways from this qualification include but are not limited to the SIT60322 Advanced Diploma of Hospitality Management.
