About This Course

SIT50422 Diploma of Hospitality Management. Study Duration 78 weeks (60 Academic weeks + 18 Weeks Holidays). However, SCCM's students who have successfully completed the course SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management will obtain credit transfer of the units which accounts for one year of full-time study. The course duration for these students will be 26 weeks. Study Mode: This qualification is delivered face to face on campus. Entry Requirements

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have successfully completed the course SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management (exceptions apply: students who have successfully completed SIT30821 Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or other superseded cookery qualifications or units may also be able to apply)
Participate in a course entry discussion to determine suitability for the course and student needs
Have an IELTS score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through:
- Being educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country; or
- Completing at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO; or
- Successful completion of an English Placement Test
Other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can be accepted if confirmed equivalent to IELTS 6.0
