This qualification is expected to be completed in 78 weeks. This will include 60 weeks of face-to-face training and assessment spread over 6 terms of 10 weeks each and 18 weeks of term breaks (accumulative). Note: Duration can be shortened to 26 weeks due to Credit Transfer if the student has completed SIT40521 Certificate IV in Kitchen Management at Hilton Academy.
The fees are: Tuition Fee: $23,725; Enrolment Fee: $250; Material Fee: $2,725. Contact the marketing team for the Promotional Pricelist.
Applicants must provide evidence of completion of the International English Language Testing system (IELTS Test), either Academic (A) or General (G) band 6 overall, or its equivalent completed within 2 years from the application date. Equivalent scores include TOEFL iBT: 67, Pearson Test of English Academic: 47, and others. Alternatively, IELTS band 5.5 with 10 weeks of ELICOS or IELTS band 5.0 with 20 weeks of ELICOS is also accepted.
2026 intake dates are: 13th April 2026, 18th May 2026, 8th June 2026, 13th July 2026, 17th August 2026, 7th September 2026, 12th October 2026, and 16th November 2026.
Learners may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge and experience (credit transfer or recognition of prior learning). The granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assesses the individual's non-formal and informal learning including any combination of formal or informal training and education, work experience or general life experience. Applications for RPL must be made prior to the commencement of the course. There is a fee for consideration of RPL applications.
