The total duration of the course is 52 weeks, comprising 40 weeks of study period and 12 weeks of term break. The course is delivered 100% face-to-face at the Training Masters campus in Sydney.
Students must meet one of the following English requirements: Academic IELTS 6 overall with no less than 5.5 in each band (test results no more than 2 years old), other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL accepted if scores are equivalent to IELTS 6.0, or completion of an approved Australian English Language course with an equivalent level.
Entry to this qualification is limited to those who have completed BSBHRM411, BSBHRM412, BSBHRM415, and BSBHRM417 (or equivalent competencies), or have two years of equivalent full-time relevant work experience. Academic requirements also include successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent, or an AQF Certificate IV qualification or higher from an Australian institution where the course duration was no less than 12 months.
Graduates may pursue various mid-level roles in human resource management, including Human Resources Advisor, Human Resources Manager, Employee Relations Specialist, Executive Personal Assistant, Workforce Planner, Recruitment Consultant, Learning and Development Coordinator, HR Compliance Officer, Payroll Officer, and HR Generalist.
The diploma requires a total of 12 units, comprising 6 core units and 6 elective units. These are delivered across 4 terms with scheduled term breaks, and the study load is approximately 20 hours per week.
