The total duration of the course is 104 weeks, comprising 80 weeks of study period and 24 weeks of term break, delivered 100% by face-to-face classes at the Training Masters campus in Sydney.
You must demonstrate English proficiency through Academic IELTS 6 overall with no less than 5.5 in each band (results must be no more than 2 years old), or equivalent scores in other accepted tests such as PTE and TOEFL, or by completing an approved Australian English Language course at an equivalent level.
Training Masters offers a specialisation in Cyber Security & Networking within the ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology, with elective units covering areas such as network security, cyber security threat analysis, security architecture design, incident response planning, and virtual computing environments.
On completion of this qualification, candidates may choose to undertake the ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology or other Advanced Diploma qualifications from the ICT Training Package or any other training package. They can also choose a bachelor's degree in information technology or computer science.
The Training Masters campus is located within the city of Sydney, just 5 minutes' walk from Town Hall Railway Station. The Diploma of Information Technology consists of 20 units in total — 6 core units and 14 elective units.
