The CRICOS course code is 106312C and the course runs for 104 weeks, comprising 80 weeks of delivery plus 24 weeks of term break.
The Diploma of Information Technology at AHMI offers two specialisations: Cyber Security and Telecommunication Network Engineering, with dedicated elective units covering topics such as threat data analysis, security architecture, disaster recovery, WAN configuration, and network design.
International students must achieve an IELTS score of 6.0 (with no bands less than 5.5) or an equivalent Pearson Test of English (PTE) score to be eligible for enrolment.
Further training pathways from this qualification may lead to the ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology or the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management.
Students that successfully complete all 20 units of competency as stated in the Course Structure will be issued with the ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology, which is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). Students who complete some but not all units may be issued with a Statement of Attainment identifying only those units completed.
