Yes. Graduates of the Diploma of Information Technology are eligible to apply for admission into KOI's Bachelor of Information Technology. Students progressing into this course will be given a maximum of 8 credits for prior learning for studies completed within the Diploma of Information Technology. Graduates may also use the Diploma to gain admission into many other bachelor level courses in Australia and overseas.
Students may choose from Information Technology Electives including Discrete Mathematics for IT (ICT101), Program Design and Development (ICT104), Cyber Security (ICT205), and E-commerce (ICT274), as well as General Electives such as Introduction to Accounting (ACC100), Introduction to Business Law (BUS101), Introduction to Marketing (BUS104), Introduction to Management (MGT100), and Operations Management (MGT203), provided pre-requisites have been met and the subject is offered in the relevant trimester.
