You must successfully complete twenty (20) units of competency, including six (6) core units and fourteen (14) elective units, to be awarded the ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology.
The total fee for the course is $16,050, broken down as follows: a non-refundable admission fee of $350, tuition of $15,000, and materials costs of $700.
The Diploma of Information Technology has four intake periods per year: January–February, April–May, July–August, and October–November.
Graduates of this qualification are prepared for roles such as IT Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, Web Developer, and Database Administrator. The course can also serve as a pathway to a Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
International students must have an overall IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, with no individual band score lower than 5.5 (test results must be no more than two years old). Alternatively, English competence can be demonstrated through education in an English-speaking country for at least five years, completion of at least six months of an AQF Level 3 or higher course at an Australian RTO within the last two years, successful completion of an ELICOS course at Upper Intermediate level or above, or successful completion of an English Placement Test at St Martin College. Other tests such as PTE and TOEFL are also accepted if equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
