The qualification is delivered over 78 weeks in total, which includes 60 weeks of training and assessment spread over 6 terms of 10 weeks each, plus 18 weeks of holidays.
International students are required to have an IELTS score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence such as successful completion of a foundation course in Australia, at least 6 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO, 5 years of education in an English-speaking country, or successful completion of an English Placement Test. Other tests such as PTE and TOEFL may also be accepted if equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
The course fee is AUD $15,000.00, with an additional Enrolment Fee of $200 and a Material Fee of $300. Please note that intake dates and course fees are subject to change without prior notice.
Students who complete this course may wish to continue their education into the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management or a range of Advanced Diploma qualifications, as well as higher education qualifications in leadership and management.
Yes, students may apply for recognition of existing qualifications or skills, knowledge, and experience through credit transfer or recognition of prior learning. The granting of course credit may affect course fees as well as the duration of the course, and this process is outlined in the Victorian Institute of Education Student Enrolment and Completion Policy and Associated Procedures and Training and Assessment Policy & Associated Procedures.
