The course duration is 78 weeks which is made up of 60 contact weeks plus 18 weeks of holiday breaks.
International students must demonstrate at least an upper-intermediate level of English proficiency, such as an IELTS score of 6.0 or an equivalent score from other recognised tests. Equivalent scores include: TOEFL iBT: 60-78; Cambridge English Exams (B2 First FCE / C1 Advanced CAE): 169 or above on the Cambridge scale; PTE Academic: 52-58; or an English proficiency of upper intermediate level or above from any NEAS accredited ELICOS provider.
After achieving the qualification, students can progress into higher qualifications, for example BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management.
The qualification requires the completion of 12 units of competency which includes 6 core and 6 electives.
Training is delivered at the Sydney campus. The course is available to international students at 20 scheduled course hours per week, and to domestic students full-time, part-time, on campus, online, blended or employment-based.
