The total duration of the Diploma of Leadership and Management is 52 weeks including the breaks. Please refer to the Academic Calendar & Fees for specific dates.
A total of 12 units must be completed in order to successfully achieve this qualification, comprising 6 core units of competency and 6 elective units of competency.
You must be 18 years of age or over and have completed Year 12 or its equivalent with suitable English language skills. International students are also required to have an English ability at IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. Students who wish to apply for VET courses directly without IELTS 6.0 or an equivalent must package their application with ELICOS.
Pathway from this qualification leads to further study in the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management or other higher education sector qualifications.
You will develop leadership skills, team management skills in the area of planning, organising, analysing information and problem solving, as well as skills in applying communication skills in the management process.
