International students must have an IELTS score of 6.0 (test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of being educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country, or by completing at least 12 months of a Certificate IV level course in an Australian RTO. Other English language tests such as PTE and TOEFL can also be accepted, provided results are confirmed to be equivalent to IELTS 6.0.
Students must have access to a laptop or computer (required for word processing, assignments, and accessing online resources), reliable internet access (required for the 25% distance study component), and a financial calculator (required for calculating financial ratios and managing budgets). A USI (Unique Student Identifier) is also required by the government for recognised training.
