The total course cost is $5,800, which comprises a Tuition Fee of $5,500 and a Non-Tuition Fee of $300. Course fees do not include uniform, PPE, safety shoes, laptops, or software. Students are also required to bring their own laptop with Office 365 (or similar program), which costs approximately $129 annually.
Assessments for this course may include written questions, projects, presentations, reports, and role plays/observations. At the beginning of each unit, your trainer and assessor will outline the assessment tasks that must be completed. Students who only complete some units will be awarded with a Statement of Attainment for units successfully completed, while a Certificate and Record of Results will be issued to students who complete all course requirements.
Students are required to maintain an 80% attendance rate. Satisfactory course progress and attendance is very important to meet visa requirements. Further information about course progress and attendance requirements will be provided at orientation.
Central Melbourne Institute offers one-to-one support from the trainer/assessor, support with personal issues, access to additional learning resources, reasonable adjustment in assessment, social events, and information about external sources of support. Additional support needs are identified at the time of application and enrolment, and a student support plan may be prepared based on those needs.
Further education pathways after completing the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management may include the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management or a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications, as well as higher education qualifications in leadership and management.
