The tuition fee is $9,450 AUD, with a non-refundable application fee of $250 AUD and a material fee of $300 AUD. The payment schedule is divided into four study periods: Study period 1 (deposit prior to CoE) is $2,500 AUD tuition + $250 AUD application fee + $300 AUD material fee; Study periods 2 and 3 are $2,500 AUD each; and Study period 4 is $1,950 AUD. Note that the deposit for the course may vary — please refer to the Letter of Offer.
The Diploma of Leadership and Management course is delivered for 20 hours per week over 52 weeks, including term breaks.
Students are assessed through a variety of methods including case studies, projects, written questions, observation of demonstrated skills (e.g. role play), presentations, and reports.
After completing the Diploma of Leadership and Management, participants can progress to the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management or a Bachelor of Business. Career outcomes include roles such as Frontline Manager, Supervisor, Human Resources Manager, Business Manager, Sales Team Manager, Office Manager, and Small Business Owner.
Yes, Mercury Institute of Victoria offers Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and Credit Transfer to all students at the time of enrolment. RPL enables students who have not undertaken the unit or equivalent, but have the required knowledge and skills, to demonstrate competency for the unit in an assessment only pathway. An RPL kit is available for candidates wishing to apply, and information sessions are available to support candidates in their application.
