Common Questions
The course is delivered using a blended learning model consisting of 70% face-to-face and 30% guided online learning. The training runs for 52 weeks, with classes scheduled for 45 weeks and 7 weeks allocated for breaks, extra tutorials, or reassessment periods. Students study full time at 20 hours per week and may require an additional 5 hours of self-directed learning per week (indicative only).
International students must be aged 18 years or over at the time of applying, have completed studies equivalent to an Australian Year 11/12 qualification, and achieve an IELTS band score of overall 6 (Academic or General) or equivalent. Students must also be competent in written and spoken English and undertake a Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test prior to commencing training. A computer with up-to-date software and basic digital literacy are also required.
To achieve the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management, candidates must demonstrate competency in 12 units of competency, including 6 core units and 6 elective units. Students who do not complete all units may be eligible for a Statement of Attainment in partial completion of the qualification.
Assessment methods for this qualification include written questions, projects, observations, presentations, case studies, reports, practical activities and work placement (if applicable — applicable only to applicants with prior experience in the field). All activities and assessments are completed and submitted via a learning management system (LMS).
After completing the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management, students can progress to the BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management, and then on to graduate-level qualifications such as the BSB80320 Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership or the BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning).

Honestly I was lost when I first started looking at Australian colleges. There are just too many options and every agent gives you different info. A friend told me about FindTheCourses and within a week I had shortlisted 3 programs that actually matched my budget and visa situation. My advisor Sanjay was super helpful — never felt like I was being pushed into anything.
