The program delivers over 20 hours of full-time study a week, with training consisting of 20 hours a week face-to-face delivery. Resources are also available online through the college Moodle platform, and trainers use a combination of trainer-led classes and practical activities involving small-group and individual activities. The total allocated hours are 800 face-to-face hours.
The program runs over a calendar year of 52 weeks, comprising 40 academic weeks and 4 term breaks of 3 weeks each.
After achieving the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management, students may undertake further study to the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management BSB60420 or a range of other Advanced Diploma qualifications.
Graduates may pursue a range of management roles including Senior Manager (Public Sector), Business Development Manager, Information Services Manager, Business Manager, Distribution Centre Manager, Legal Practice Manager, Production Manager, Operations Manager, Office Manager, Warehouse Manager, Corporate Services Manager, and Transport Manager.
