Diploma of Leadership and Management

The Diploma of Leadership and Management (BSB50420) develops the knowledge, practical skills and experience needed for leadership and management roles across a wide range of enterprise and industry contexts. Delivered by Veritas Institute Australia in Geelong, students develop initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others, alongside communication skills to support individuals and teams in meeting organisational requirements. The course also builds skills in designing, applying and evaluating solutions to unpredictable problems, and in identifying, analysing and synthesising information from a range of sources. Training is face-to-face for 20 hours per week across 52 academic weeks, with the course running 65 weeks in total once term breaks and holidays are included. It leads to a wide range of management roles and can be followed by the Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management or the Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning). No licensing, legislative or certification requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
